- Frank Reina rarely misses a Borgata series, but was out of action during the Summer Poker Open due to business conflicts. Reina is a consistent performer in Borgata events to the tune of three victories since 2013. Earlier in 2016, Reina notched two victories in the March Monster Stacks series within the same week that earned him a combined.
- After swapping double-ups back and forth, the heads-up match between Onofrio ‘Frank’ Reina and Mark Hendrix came to an abrupt halt. Frank shoved with A4 only to run into Mark’s AK. Big Slick was good for Mark and the took the last bounties of the tournament. Frank Reina finished in 2nd place, earning $1,612.

The flop came and added an open-ended straight draw to Jean’s hand. Frank took the lead on the turn when the fell, but the on the river gave Jean the straight.
Frank was felted and will collect $2,891 for 7th place. He sends a shout-out to Garrett and says “thanks for all the support!”

Frank Reina has been a staple here on the Borgata Poker tournament scene for many years. He now ranks third on the Borgata all time tournaments cashed list with an impressive 66 total cashes. This trails only Mike Marder who holds 69 Borgata cashes and Howard Wolper who holds the Borgata record with 100 tournament cashes.

Reina has earned nearly $400,000 in live career tournament earnings and holds three first place Borgata finishes. He is also quickly closing in on another poker milestone.
He now rakes 102nd on New Jersey’s all time money list and finds himself just two spots out of the top 100. Reina is starting to chip up here in the early levels of Day 1E as he looks to continue adding to his long list of poker accomplishments.
